Ingredients
1 can apple pie filling
1 box pillsbury pie crust (2 Rolls)
Egg wash (1 egg + 1 teaspoon Milk)
Cinnamon sugar (4 teaspoons sugar +1 teaspoon cinnamon) sprinkle before baking
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the Pillsbury pie crust and gently smooth out the edges - do not thin the dough.
Use a 4-1/2 inch round cutter to cut circles from the dough.
Open the can of apple filling and use a knife to chop the apples into smaller pieces.
In a bowl, whisk together an egg and milk to make an egg wash.
Add a scoop of apple pie filling to the center of each dough circle, leaving 1/2 inch border around the edges.
Use a pastry brush to brush the egg wash on the edges. Fold the edges inward and crimp slightly. Place each mini apple blossom on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the edges with more egg wash and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on them.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
