Serves: 5
Prep time: 20 minutes
Bake time: None
Ingredients
1 cup apple cider or apple juice
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar or simple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon + more for garnish
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Simple syrup:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Into a small saucepan, add the apple cider. Place the stovetop on medium heat and stir every 30 seconds for 12 minutes until it reduces to half. Remove from heat and let it cool completely before using.
In another saucepan, combine granulated sugar and water. Place the stovetop over medium heat and stir occasionally until the sugar fully dissolves. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat to cool completely.
In a bowl, whisk the heavy cream, apple pie spice, cinnamon, and simple syrup together until soft - medium peaks form.
Gently fold the cooled apple cider reduction into the whipped cream using a spatula, adding a little at a time, until combined.
Brew and prepare the coffee of your choice adding the cold foam on top. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and enjoy!
Lasts up to 6 days in the refrigerator.
