Bake time: 32 minutes
Ingredients
• 1 pound pasta, cooked and drained
• 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons onion powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
• ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
• 3–4 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions:
In a pot over heat, add the fusilli pasta into the boiling salted water. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
In a bowl, add in the cooked and drained pasta. Let it cool at room temperature for 5 minutes.
Once the pasta is slightly cooled, add olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Toss until all the pasta is evenly coated with the spices.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and drizzle some olive oil on each. Divine the pasta between the 2 baking sheets and spread it out evenly.
Preheat the oven to 400F and bake for 15 minutes. Then toss the pasta and rotate the pans (switch the top and bottom trays). Bake for another 15 minutes.
Broil for 2 minutes until crispy.
