Ingredients


  • 2 cans apple pie filling (2 x 540ml)

  • 1 box golden or yellow cake mix

  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup butter, melted

  • 1 can dulce de leche


Directions:


  1. In a bowl, whisk together the golden cake mix, apple pie spice, and cinnamon. Set aside.


  2. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish greased with non-stick spray.


  3. Pour the apple pie filling into the baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.


  4. Optional: pour a can of dulce de leche over the apple filling.


  5. Gently pour the cake mixture all over the apple pie filling.


  6. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mixture.


  7. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 40 minutes. Let is sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.


  8. Scoop onto a plate. Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of dulce de leche. Enjoy!
