Serves: 4 (depends on apple)

Prep time: 15 Minutes

Bake time: None

Ingredients

  • 1 large honey crisp apple

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • Homemade caramel sauce

  • Flaky salt

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. In a microwavable bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring in between until melted and smooth.

  3. Slice apples into thick rounds, about 1/2 inch each. Remove seeds an crave hole at the center of each slice.

  4. Insert wooden skewers into the bottom of each apple slice to make a "lollipop".

  5. Dip each apple slice into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then place on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over each chocolate - covered apple slice.

  7. Place in the freezer for 45 minutes to firm the chocolate.

  8. Serve immediately and Enjoy!
