Serves: 6

Prep time: 15 Minutes

Bake time: 25-30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1 cup milk

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Grease a 9x13 oven-safe baking dish with vegetable oil and place on a cookie sheet (to catch any spills). Preheat the oven to 450F and place the baking sheet in the oven to heat the oil for 8-10 minutes.

  2. All ingredients must be at room temperature.

  3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs for about 1 minute until frothy. Add the flour and salt, then whisk until combined.

  4. Gradually pour in the milk in 3 portions, whisking after each addition.

  5. When bubbles form around the oil, carefully remove the hot pan from the oven. Quickly pour the batter into the hot oil (it should sizzle immediately).

  6. Return to the oven and bake at 450F for 25-30 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.

  7. This large Yorkshire Pudding is perfect to serve with pot roast, gravy and turkey. Enjoy!
