Ingredients


  • 1 pound mixed nuts (cashews, pecans, walnuts, etc)

  • 4 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Flaky salt for garnish


Directions:


  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add butter and honey. Microwave for 40 seconds, then stir until melted and combined.


  2. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well mixed.


  3. In a large bowl, add the mixed nuts of your choice. Pour the honey-butter mixture over them and toss until evenly coated.

    Note: Do not use salted or roasted nuts for this recipe.


  4. Prepare a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.


  5. Spread the coated nuts evenly on the baking sheet.


  6. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 6 minutes, then remove and toss the nuts. Return to the oven and bake for another 7 minutes.


  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle flaky salt. Let the nuts cool completely for about 20 minutes.


  8. Once cooled, store the nuts in a airtight container. They will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
