Ingredients


• 7 cups Rice Krispies

• 1 cup Cornflakes

• 2 × 400g mini marshmallows

• 6 tablespoon salted butter

• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

• 1/2 cup sifted unsweetened cocoa powder

• 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips (plus extra on top)

• Christmas sprinkles (optional)


Directions:


  1. In a pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once it is melted, add the marshmallows and continuously stir until smooth.

    Tip: Spray the wooden spoon with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.


  2. Stir in the vanilla extract and sift in the cocoa powder. Mix until fully combined and smooth.


  3. Remove from the stove top and add in the Rice Krispies cereal. Mix until everything is well coated.


  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.


  5. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.


  6. Spread the mixture into the pan using a spatula.

    Tip: Grease the spatula to help spread easier.


  7. Add festive Christmas sprinkles on top.


  8. Let it sit for 30 minutes at room temperature.


  9. Slice, serve and enjoy!
