Bake time: 20 Minutes


Ingredients


  • 2 cups raw pecan halves

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons honey/maple syrup OR 4 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla


Directions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 325F.


  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract until a paste forms.


  3. Toss the pecans in the mixture and evenly coat.


  4. Spread the coated pecans on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.


  5. Bake for 20 minutes. Every 5 minutes of baking, toss and spread the pecans.


  6. Store in a food safe container.
