​Prep time: 5 minutes

Bake time: 60 to 90 Minutes; depends on potato size


Ingredients


  • 4 Large Russet Potatoes (the best potato for baking!)

  • High-quality Olive Oil

  • Coarse Salt (Sea salt or Kosher salt works best)


Directions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


  2. Wash and thoroughly dry the potatoes.


  3. Using a fork, prick the sides of each potato three to four times to allow the steam to escape.


  4. Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil and rub it in until they are evenly coated.


  5. Generously sprinkle sea salt all over the potato

    .

  6. Drizzle olive oil on the prepared baking sheet and place the potatoes on it.


  7. Bake for 1 hour and 25 Minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the center.


  8. Carefully slice a cross into the top of each potato, gently press the ends to pop them open, and top with butter and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
