Serves: 4-6

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, unsalted
1/4 cup flour
2- 1/2 cups boiling water
1-1/2 teaspoon powder (or 1 cube) beef bouillon
1 packet onion soup mix
1/4 teaspoon (adjust to your liking) black pepper
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk together the boiling water, onion soup mix, and beef bouillon powder.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and allow it to melt completely. Add in the flour and whisk for 3 minutes until the roux becomes golden.
Notes: If you prefer a darker roux, cook for an additional 3 minutes until a deeper golden brown.
Pour the liquid mixture in 2 portions into the saucepan, whisking consistently for about 6 minutes until thickened and smooth.
Pour into a gravy bowl and serve hot with dinner. Enjoy!
