Bake time: 8 Minutes (3-4 hours in fridge)


Ingredients


  • 1 cup salted butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2-1/4 cups white chocolate chips

  • 48 saltine crackers

  • Festive M&M’s

  • Christmas sprinkles

  • 1 - 18x12 cookie sheet lined with Parchment paper or aluminum foil


Directions:


  1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.


  2. Lay even rows of saltine crackers onto the baking sheet, covering the entire surface. Set aside.


  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Once it comes to a gentle boil, let it bubble for 2 minutes, stirring continuously until thick and smooth.


  4. Carefully pour the hot toffee mixture all over the saltine crackers. Use a spatula to spread it quickly before it starts to harden.


  5. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake the toffee covered crackers for 8 minutes.


  6. Place the bowl of white chocolate chips into the microwave. Microwave at 15 second intervals and stir until completely melted.


  7. Remove the pan from oven and Immediately pour the melted white chocolate over the toffee crackers. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate evenly.


  8. Add festive toppings such as M&M's, sprinkles, or any toppings of your choice.


  9. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.


  10. Once fully firm and set, peel off the foil and break the bark into pieces.


  11. Enjoy this festive treat!
