Serves: 6

Prep time: 15 Minutes

Bake time: 35 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1- 2/3 cups granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

How to make a brownie:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

  • brownie mix

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  2. Using a funnel, layer the ingredients into a 1-quart jar in this order: granulated sugar, cocoa powder, flour mixture, semi sweet chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips. Seal the jar tightly.

  3. To make the brownies, whisk together the melted butter and lightly beaten eggs in a bowl. Add the contents of the jar into the bowl and stir until combined- do not overmix. Prepare a 9 inch pie plate that has been lightly greased and spread the brownie batter evenly in the pan. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
