Ingredients:
Lemonade:
2/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups fresh filtered water
Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Tea:
4 cups boiling water
6 black tea bags
Directions:
Boil water and steep the black tea bags for 3 minutes, then remove them. Pour the tea into a heat proof cup and set it aside. Allow it to come to room temperature.
Pour sugar and water in a pot over medium heat on the stove top. Stir until the pot starts to simmer and the sugar fully dissolves. Allow the simple syrup to come to room temperature.
Into a 8-9 cup serving pitcher, pour the black tea, lemon juice, water, and simple syrup. Stir it all together and add lemon slices. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
