Ingredients:


Lemonade:

  • 2/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 cups fresh filtered water


Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water


Tea:

  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 6 black tea bags


Directions:


  1. Boil water and steep the black tea bags for 3 minutes, then remove them. Pour the tea into a heat proof cup and set it aside. Allow it to come to room temperature.


  2. Pour sugar and water in a pot over medium heat on the stove top. Stir until the pot starts to simmer and the sugar fully dissolves. Allow the simple syrup to come to room temperature.


  3. Into a 8-9 cup serving pitcher, pour the black tea, lemon juice, water, and simple syrup. Stir it all together and add lemon slices. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
