Ingredients


  • 1 pound cake recipe

  • 2 pounds strawberries

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1-1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar


Directions:


  1. Follow Queen G's 4 ingredient Pound Cake Recipe. Let it cool.


  2. Rinse, dry and chop the strawberries into 1 inch pieces. Place them in a bowl and add the sugar. Stir to coat the strawberries evenly.


  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.


  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until medium peaks form. You can use a hand mixer or stand mixer for best results.


  5. On a serving plate, place a slice of pound cake. Spoon some of the macerated strawberries on top, followed by a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with additional strawberries. Enjoy!
