Serves: 10 -12

Prep time: 20 Minutes

Bake time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Base:

Pretzel sticks Toffee Layer:

• 1 cup salted butter

• 1 cup brown sugar

Toppings:

• 2¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

• ⅓ cup toasted almonds

• ⅓ cup Hershey’s toffee bits

• Christmas sprinkles

• Flaky sea salt

Directions:

  1. Line a 17.5x12.5 inch cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange pretzels in an even layer.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Stir occasionally until the mixture comes to a bubble. Once bubbling, continue stirring for 3 minutes (this is important so it sets properly).

  3. Immediately pour the hot toffee evenly over the pretzel sticks. Use an offset spatula to gently spread. Work quickly - toffee sets fast.

  4. Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 8 minutes.

  5. Remove the pan from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot toffee layer.

  6. Return to oven for 2 minutes, just until chocolate looks glossy and soft. Spread chocolate layer into an even layer with an offset spatula.

  7. Sprinkle with the desired toppings: toffee bits, toasted almonds, Christmas sprinkles, and flaky sea salt onto the chocolate.

  8. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes, then transfer to the fridge for minimum 4 hours until it is fully set and firm.

  9. Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!
